TLC’S my article is a forum for the exchange of knowledge and the reporting of new developments in all dimensions of law, broadly defined.

1) Opinion pieces, which advance a personal viewpoint on contemporary issues in any field of law, preferably a current issue.

2) Legal notes,that  aims to cater the comprehensive coverage of all legal subjects and make law more accessible.

3) Current awareness pieces,that addresses recent notable developments in any field of law.

CONTRIBUTOR'S AGREEMENT

In making a submission to the TLC, the contributor:

Warrants that the piece is their original work, and that there is no impediment to its publication on the TLC.

Consents to the publication of the submitted piece on the TLC website and in other TLC publications, provided that they are fully acknowledged as author;

agrees that the TLC can use and store personal data provided by the author for the purposes of the TLC before and after the publication of the author’s post; this includes that the TLC can publish the author’s name, position, and affiliation next to the blog post and also when cross-posting the TLC publication via our Newsletter, RSS, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or similar media; and

Consents to purely editorial changes and accepts that the editors have discretion in the choice of the blog post title.

*Submission of an article will be deemed as consent of the contributor for the contributor’s agreement.

We Respect Our Contributor

Every month TLC announces TOP-3 Reads and acknowledges the efforts of their Author(s) on our ‘Wall of Fame.’ All participants are awarded an e-certificate of Publication.

No Unnecessary Delay

We do not believe in creating unnecessary delay by ‘stretching things’. Just mail your piece to us and we will get back to you within a week regarding its eligibility for publication.

We Guide You

If your Paper is not eligible for the publication, our team will give you feedback, explain you the loopholes and guide you for its publication.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR 

 ALL CONTRIBUTORS

Authors may submit pieces that have already been featured on other blogs, but they must disclose the fact of prior posting on submission.

Posts accepted for publication on the TLC shall not be cross-posted to other platforms within 10 days of publication on the TLC.

Contributors must include their full name and affiliation, a suggested title for their blog post, a link to their social media handle, if available, and a high quality image in formal clothes for the posts cover page in their covering email.

Submissions should not contain content that could be considered offensive, abusive, derogatory or potentially defamatory.

We prefer an article that does not exceed 1,500. However, flexibility is allowed if the content so requires, and the quality is ensured.

The authors shall receive an acknowledgement email on the receipt of the article by the Editorial Board. Once the Editorial Board acknowledges the receipt of an article, it will go through a rigorous editorial process and the decision about its acceptance or rejection shall be communicated to the authors within 7 days.

In relation to all the disputes, the decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding. However without any doubt, an opportunity for fair hearing shall be provided.

The content shouldn’t be too dense/ technical for a reader. The concepts and case laws covered in the content should be easily understandable and mentioned in the simplest yet grammatically correct form.

The content should be detailed and important points should be properly highlighted. Answer all the questions that may come to one’s mind regarding the topic. However, do not deviate and write irrelevant things to make up the word count. Content needs to be genuine and strictly relevant.

The article should be in a proper flow. Paragraphs/ sentences/ headings/ sub-headings (select as appropriate) should be connected with the previous and subsequent paragraph/ sentence/ heading/ sub-heading (select as appropriate).

Contributor has to be straight to the point and precise. No beating around the bush.
